Retail purchases and after-sales support
1-year product warranty: products purchased directly from JAC Home Living are covered for defects in materials and workmanship under normal intended use for 12 months from delivery or collection. Read the full 1-year warranty terms for coverage, how to claim, repair or replacement and claim-related expenses. This warranty is additional to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, which may continue beyond the warranty period.
For retail purchases made directly from JAC Home Living, please read our Retail returns & after-sales care policy. It explains damaged or faulty items, incorrectly supplied goods, assessment, return transport, refunds, discretionary change-of-mind requests, clearance products and product care.
Your Australian Consumer Law rights apply wherever the law provides them. Clearance prices, a stated warranty period and these website terms do not remove those rights. For a major product problem you can choose a refund or replacement; for a minor problem we will provide a remedy within a reasonable time in accordance with the law.
Change-of-mind returns: prior written approval is required, and returned products must be unused, complete, suitably packaged and fit for resale. Approved returns incur a 15% restocking fee, calculated on the amount actually paid for the returned products after discounts and excluding delivery charges. Customers also pay return freight. Read our change-of-mind return conditions for transport arrangements and how return damage is assessed. These conditions do not exclude responsibility for loss or damage caused by JAC Home Living or a carrier we engage, and do not apply to statutory remedies for faulty, incorrectly supplied or misdescribed goods. Existing orders retain the return terms that applied when they were placed.
Voluntary order changes and cancellations are considered individually. Please contact us as early as possible; any agreed arrangements will be confirmed in writing. This does not restrict remedies available under consumer law.

JAC Home Living may disable your user ID and password in JAC Home Living’s sole discretion without notice or explanation.

We aim to keep this website available and its information accurate, but access may be interrupted for maintenance or other reasons. Website availability is separate from our obligations for products and orders.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies consumer guarantees, remedies or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights under the Australian Consumer Law. We remain responsible for our obligations as the seller, including applicable remedies and compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss caused by a failure to meet consumer guarantees.
Any additional written product warranty operates alongside these legal rights. The website-use provisions below do not prevent you from making a valid product or after-sales claim.
Unenforceable provisions
If any provision of this website disclaimer is, or is found to be, unenforceable under applicable law, that will not affect the enforceability of the other provisions of this website disclaimer.
Responsibility for website misuse
You are responsible for your unlawful use of this website and for loss you cause by that misuse, to the extent permitted by law. This does not make you responsible for loss caused by JAC Home Living, penalise you for making a valid after-sales claim, or limit any consumer right or remedy.
Breaches of these terms and conditions
Without prejudice to JAC Home Living other rights under these terms and conditions, if you breach these terms and conditions in any way, JAC Home Living may take such action as JAC Home Living deems appropriate to deal with the breach, including suspending your access to the website, prohibiting you from accessing the website, blocking computers using your IP address from accessing the website, contacting your internet service provider to request that they block your access to the website and/or bringing court proceedings against you.
Changes to these terms
We may update these website terms and policies by publishing a revised version. Changes apply from publication and do not retrospectively remove rights relating to an existing order or claim. Please check the current version when placing a new order.
Assignment
JAC Home Living may transfer, sub-contract or otherwise deal with JAC Home Living rights and/or obligations under these terms and conditions without notifying you or obtaining your consent.
You may not transfer, sub-contract or otherwise deal with your rights and/or obligations under these terms and conditions.
Severability
If a provision of these terms and conditions is determined by any court or other competent authority to be unlawful and/or unenforceable, the other provisions will continue in effect. If any unlawful and/or unenforceable provision would be lawful or enforceable if part of it were deleted, that part will be deemed to be deleted, and the rest of the provision will continue in effect.
Website terms and order information
These terms govern use of this website. Product descriptions, any applicable written warranty, agreed order and delivery details, and the Retail returns & after-sales care policy also apply to a purchase. These terms do not override consumer guarantees, an express promise made about a product or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

If you notice an error in a product description or order detail, please contact us so we can check it. We may correct website information and update future product ranges, but a correction does not remove rights arising from a description or promise relevant to your purchase.
